Cloud facts for kids
Cloud always have many funny jokes for us.
1. A cloud is a large group of tiny water droplets that we can see in the air.
2. A cloud droplet is just 0.02mm in diameter – that’s five times smaller than the thickness of a piece of paper. However, these droplets condense together to form clouds up to 14 miles high!
3. Clouds reflect the suns light that is the reason why clouds come with white color.
4. Clouds are formed when water on Earth evaporates into the sky and condenses high up in the cooler air.
5. Big clouds are normally made up of water droplets and have a base under 2,000 meters.
6. There are a range of different types of clouds. Three main types are stratus, cumulus and cirrus.
7. Venus has clouds made up of sulfur dioxide and sulphuric acid – Saturn and Jupiter have ammonia clouds.
8. Stratus clouds are flat and featureless, appearing as layered sheets.
9. Cirrostratus are high-level clouds that cover large areas of sky, and can stretch for thousands of miles.
10. Clouds can also be made of other chemicals.

Inside Out Thought Bubbles: Some Tips, Strategy Guide

Here are the best Inside Out Thought Bubbles cheats/tips/tricks/hints to get better at the game.

Seeing how Inside Out is well on its way to become the most successful Pixar movie of all time, it shouldn’t surprise anyone Disney wants to cash in on that by following it up with a video game.

After all, this has been their modus operandi for quite a long time. What we should be interested in, however, is that Inside Out Thought Bubbles is actually a pretty addicting bubble shooter!

If you’re keen to give it a try, here is a helpful Inside Out Thought Bubbles game guide with tips and cheats to help you out:

• Take It Easy
This is one of the simplest and most important tips in this game – don’t rush. Inside Out Thought Bubbles does not reward speed, but patience.

Make sure you are about to take the best shot available before actually doing it.

In the same vein, keep in mind you can alternate between the two colors you’re given. And seeing how you’ll move on to the alternate color when you’ve shot the main one anyway, always consider the bubble clusters that will form after you’ve made your shot.

• Deal With Frozen Clusters Quickly
Frozen chunks are bad news, as they don’t let any other bubbles get past them. If you were wondering how to get rid of them as quickly as possible, the answer is simple – Joy’s special ability.

Hitting an ice cluster with her special bubble will destroy it, so make sure you line up your shot well and go to town.

• Use the Special Abilities
You’ll only have Joy at the start, but as you progress you’ll unlock the other Riley’s emotions – Sadness, Anger and Disgust.

Each of these characters has a unique special ability, which are all super useful and should not be ignored. For example, Sadness is able to make all the bubbles above it turn blue and disappear, whereas Anger can shoot a fireball in a straight line.

There are also some other power-ups that you can unlock by opening treasure chests on your level map.

There are three of them: Line Power extends your aiming line, Rainbow Memory matches all the memories of a single color, and Extra Choices lets you shoot four bubbles instead of two.

• Watch the Ads
There is also another way to get those neat non-character power-ups, and it’s fairly simple – don’t skip the video advertisements when they come up.

They may seem like a chore to sit through, but doing so gives you a big chance to get a random power-up. Plus, the videos are only a few seconds long anyway.

• Avoid the Line
“Avoid the Line” levels get unlocked at level 21 and require a slightly different strategy to beat. In “Avoid the Line”, the grid falls down after every third shot you make – if it touches the line, you’re out. The best way to avoid that is to ignore what you’ve learned up to that point and just focus on shooting bubbles in front of you.

This is where the characters’ special abilities come in handy, as you can use them to destroy the entire front section or a bubble cluster just above the front line. This is a good time to use the other power-ups if you have them as well.

• Land the Trick Shots
In most cases, trick shots (or tricks) are pretty much the best kind of shot you can fire in this game. Tricks are done by shooting your ball so it bounces off the wall and hits the bubbles stationed on top of the front cluster.

Not only these tricks are an enormous help in getting rid of those hard to reach memories, but all the bubbles on top of those will be knocked down and form a new cluster that you can hopefully get rid of with a single shot!

• Manage Your Lives Cheat Exploit

When you happen to lose a stage or restart after making even a single move, you’ll lose a life. Once you’re out of lives, you will be forced to wait 30 minutes or spend your hard-earned gems to unlock another one.

If you’re not opposed to some slight cheats, there is a more practical way – setting the time on your Android ahead by 30 minutes.

You can get a maximum of 5 lives this way, and resetting the time back to normal won’t delete them. If this trick doesn’t work, enter your device’s airplane mode and try again!

The Science Behind the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's Battery Fires

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is suffering the same fate as countless hoverboards — there are reports that some phones have been bursting into flames, prompting Samsung is issue a recall and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to strongly discourage passengers from carrying the device on planes, news sources report.
Why is this smartphone such a fire hazard? The answer has to do with its lithium-ion battery, a common power source that isn't just used in cellphones but also in computers, power tools and toys. [9 Odd Ways Your Tech Device May Injure You]
Lithium, the third element on the period table, is a silver-white metal that can catch fire when exposed to oxygen or water, Lloyd Gordon, the chief electrical safety officer at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, told Live Science last year.
But in 1991, Sony Corp. commercialized a way to safely use the ions, mainly by keeping the lithium ions in a suspension or chemical so that it isn't pure lithium, Gordon said.
Well-made electronics have safety measures built into their lithium-ion batteries, but faulty ones with poorly made electric circuitry can meet with fiery ends, he said.
For instance, faulty batteries can be overcharged. Well-made batteries will stop charging automatically once they're full, but that's not always the case for faulty batteries, Gordon told Live Science. If left plugged in for too long, the lithium ions can collect in one spot and be deposited as metallic lithium within the battery, he said. Also, heat from the overcharging can cause oxygen bubbles within the gel, which are highly reactive with metallic lithium.
Likewise, defective lithium-ion batteries can also be over-discharged, meaning they don't shut off when the power is too low, which can also lead to fires, Gordon said.
It's unclear exactly what's causing the problem in some Galaxy Note 7 devices, but one user showcased the result on YouTube after he removed the phone from its official Samsung charger.
As of Sept. 1, Samsung is aware of 35 cases globally of lithium-ion battery malfunction, the company said in a statement.
"In response to recently reported cases of the new Galaxy Note7, we conducted a thorough investigation and found a battery cell issue," the company said in the statement. The company said it would temporarily halt sales of the device, and that it would replace current Galaxy Note7 smartphones with newer, safer models in the coming weeks, Samsung added.
In the meantime, the FAA took action, saying that it "strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage," according to a statement.
In response to the FAA advisory, Samsung is expediting new shipments of the smartphone this week, Reuters reported today (Sept. 9).

Wearable Camera Lets You 'Go Back in Time' to Record Fleeting Moments

Ever wish you could go back and record that custom sports car that just raced by, or that awesome jump shot your kid just made? A new wearable camera lets you do just that: go back in time, so to speak, to retroactively capture those fleeting moments you thought you missed.
Called the Perfect Memory camera, developed by New York-based General Streaming Systems, the 12-megapixel device is pocket-size and lightweight. With a tap of its touch screen, it can record video and audio, and is capable of full-high-definition (HD) 1080p video.
Here's how it works: With its AutoEdit mode, the camera is continuously recording, and when you tap its touch screen, it saves footage from the previous 5 minutes, or any other duration you want to set. This allows people to retroactively save a video of an event after the interesing facts.

"You don't know when a surprising, magical moment will happen ... capturing a baby's first words, for instance," said Jules Winnfield, chief operating officer of General Streaming Systems.
Perfect Memory can be worn as a hands-free bodycam. Depending on the camera's accessories, it can also attach to the dash of a car, be paired with sports action mounts, stick to virtually any surface and even hang around a pet's neck.
Perfect Memory can also snap photos, act as a regular video camera and shoot time-lapse photography, according to General Streaming Systems. The device can accept microSD cards with up to 128GB of storage space.
A free iOS or Android app can control the camera. The camera can use Wi-Fi to wirelessly connect with a smartphone via the app, and stream video and photos live, according to the company.
When the camera is recording video continuously at the highest level of resolution, its battery can last up to 4 hours, Winnfield said. When the camera is recording continuously and using Wi-Fi to stream video live, the battery will last up to 2 hours. If the camera is not recording continuously, its battery may last up to several days. The battery takes up to 1.5 hours to recharge, according to the company.
General Streaming Systems started developing the Perfect Memory camera in 2015. An Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the device raised more than $171,000 in two months. When the campaign ended on Aug. 20, it had raised almost six times more than its $30,000 goal. Mass production of the cameras (which can be purchased for an early-bird price of $119) will begin this month, and the devices are expected to ship to the campaign's backers beginning in October.

Thinkrolls 2 - An excellent logic game for kids

As a descendant of Thinkrolls app, well, Thinkrolls 2 with more than 230 new and tricky levels, once again, provides with many hours of pure fun for kids and maybe even the adult as well.

Thinkrolls' concept

That sounds quite easy actually as kids can roll the funny characters from one maze into another, via finger swipe, in order to reach the exit of a level at the bottom of the screen. Since the character can only roll sideways on their own, kids need to use various tools effectively in order to overcome obstacles.

Two difficulty levels with totally different levels each, provide for plenty of alternation for kids aged 3 to 9 years, so they will neither get bored nor over-challenged. All in all Thinkrolls 2 offers over 235 levels with increasing difficulty levels, that are divided into 7 various chapters.

Overview of the New Tools

Thinkrolls 2 features a total of 7 different chapter and similar to the 1st Thinkroll episode, each finished chapter in the second one also gets a new game element throughout the game. By that way, the levels, of course, become more complex and so kids have to keep on finding new ways and solutions on their already developed strategies.

Seven chapters of the app are:
  • Chapter 1: Accordion levels
  • Chapter 2: Water & Barrel
  • Chapter 3: Egg levels
  • Chapter 4: Fan
  • Chapter 5: Wormhole
  • Chapter 6: Battery levels
  • Chapter 7: Light bulb levels
